OK - got it!

This is cask conditioned beer containing live yeast, it needs to be kept upright and cool, but not refrigerated, 12 °C is ideal.

Allow the sediment to settle for at least 3-6 hours before drinking. Before venting pull out the tap and pour out some beer into a glass in order to release pressure prior to opening the top valve (opens by turning from 0 to 1). This will avoid beer squirting through the vent and being lost.

Once opened consume within 2 to 3 days as the beer will oxidise. Always close the vent on the top of the cask after use to maintain condition. A slight yeast haze may be present which is natural to the beer. If the cask is moved after opening the packed yeast sediment on the base may be disturbed, resulting in cloudy beer.
